Honda Siel Cars India Ltd., (HSCI) was established in December 1995 as a joint venture between Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Japan and Siel Limited to manufacture passenger cars in India. The company has introduced three models in India - Honda City, Honda Accord, and Honda CR-V. Very shortly it is going to launch its new model, Honda Civic, in India. Honda City ZX comes with the latest version of original Honda Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) engine that employs compact combustion chambers and new design intake port with Narrow Valve angles for Rapid Combustion and reduced friction leading to compatibility of fuel economy and powerful dynamic run.

Honda's intelligent Dual and Sequential Ignition (i-DSI) engine results in high performance, high fuel economy and low toxic emissions. Its 1497 cc engine delivers 77Bhp at 5000 rpm with 125 Nm of torque peaking at a low 2700 rpm.

Honda City ZX is available in two variants - Honda City EXI and Honda City GXI.

Honda CR-V has been designed to blend the best of both worlds-sedans and SUVs. Its top class 2.4 i-VTEC engine and 4 WD agility ensure a smooth and comfortable drive. Honda CR-V's other plus points include - refined suspension; path-breaking noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) reduction; and the option of 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Using "intelligent" valve control technologies, Honda CR-V delivers higher performance, powerful torque and excellent acceleration in city driving and highway cruising. Honda CR-V incorporates DBW (Drive-By-Wire), which provides precise, natural throttle control for smooth driving feel on acceleration and at high speeds. Honda CR-V generates maximum power of 152 @ 6000 RPM and a torque of 21.95 kgm @ 3600 rpm.
