Early morning view sunrise and after breakfast a half day sightseeing of Kanyakumari,including a visit to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The famous Indian philosopher, Swami Vivekananda is said to have meditated on the rock island and the memorial was built in 1970, which is a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Also visit the Gandhi Memorial where the ashes of the Father of the Nation are kept.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Afternoon proceed to Madurai.Later in the evening a visit to the Meenakshi Temple.
Madurai It is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu. Madurai lies on the banks of the River Vaigai The Great Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side) is the focus of all activities here also the Tirumala Nayak Palace - A gracious building in the Indo sacracenic style, famous for the Stucco work on its domes and arches ,the Pazhamudir Solai Temple, and the Kallazhagar Koil.

Early morning proceed for a full day excursion to the sacred island town of Rameshwaram and return to Madurai. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Rameswaram :At the extreme south-eastern limit of the Indian Peninsula, it has one of India's most venerated temples. A fine example of South Indian architecture, the temple is renowed for its many pillared corridors, about 1220 metres in length. Rameshwaram, is an island hallowed by the Ramayana. A devotee who visit Varanasi is also expected to visit this place to gain the full fruit of his prayers, This place is sacred to Shaivites and Vaishnavites.
